Increase Energy Levels By Taking The Best Fatigue Supplements
In today’s modern world, where the name of the game is speed, it is not uncommon for people to get very tired. Approaching work deadlines and continuous flow of consumerism can easily drain your energy.
Though tiredness can be resolved by resting and allowing your body to recuperate, the unchanging daily routines and work pressure may provide a hindrance to this solution. Good thing, some supplements give you a practical and simple answer to the daily energy demands of your body.
Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha extract has been shown in many studies to help combat fatigue and tiredness brought about by the rigors of daily life. Derived from ashwagandha plant, this Indian medicinal herb has been proved to boost energy and improve the resilience of your body against mental and physical stress.
In one research project, participants who have been given ashwagandha displayed considerable improvement in many stress and anxiety tests as compared to those who took a placebo. They also showed a decrease of approximately 28% in their cortisol levels. Cortisol is a hormone that has been observed to increase when stress sets in.
A comprehensive review of five research projects which looked at the effects of the Indian medicinal herb on stress and anxiety solidified these findings. In all of the studies, results reveal that participants who were given ashwagandha extract have better scores on anxiety, fatigue, and stress tests.
Aside from helping out with stress and mental fatigue, researchers also discovered that ashwagandha could ease fatigue resulting from exercise. In another study involving elite cyclists, researchers found those who took ashwagandha extracts improved their cycling time by at least seven percent longer compared to those who took a placebo. All of these research projects also proved that ashwagandha supplements are safe to take, and their side effects risks are very low.
Other Ways to Ease Fatigue
Exercising has also been proven to help boost energy levels. While this activity may be difficult to insert in your busy schedule, you need to find time for it. This is because regular exercise makes you feel less tired. This activity also releases endorphins, which help improve your mood, boost energy levels, and help get a restful sleep.
