Indianapolis Colts vs Jacksonville Jaguars: Where to Watch Live Online Stream, Prediction, Betting Odds, and Preview for Sunday’s NFL Game
Quarterback Andrew Luck hopes to match his team’s win total from last season as the Indianapolis Colts play host to the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday afternoon at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The game begins at 1 p.m. EDT time and will be shown by CBS, or you may watch a live stream online by purchasing NFL Sunday Ticket Max.
Luck overcame his four turnover performance in Week One and led Indianapolis to a 23-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The top draft pick brought the Colts down field with 31 seconds remaining and lined up a 53-yard field goal by kicker Adam Vinatieri for his first professional win.
The Stanford alum went 20-for-31 for 224 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with receiver Donnie Avery for nine receptions and 111 yards, and veteran Reggie Wayne for six receptions and a touchdown.
Jacksonville mustered only 117 total yards against the formidable Houston Texans in their 27-7 loss last Sunday.
Despite having an equal number of possessions, Houston controlled the ball for more than 43 minutes with 216 yards rushing, led by running backs Arian Foster and Ben Tate who scored three touchdowns combined.
Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert went 7-for-19 for 53 yards and a touchdown, but had to come after suffering what has later named a glut injury.
Running back Maurice Jones-Drew averaged five yards per carry, but only received 12 touches for 60 yards.
Cornerback Derek Cox is Jacksonville’s best man in coverage and may make his first appearance of the season against the Colts, but it could be in a limited capacity.
Jacksonville defensive end George Selvie is out for his third straight game this season, and fellow end Austen Lane is questionable.
For the Colts, defensive tackle Cory Redding and defensive end Dwight Freeney are listed as questionable versus the Jaguars.
Betting Odds: Indianapolis is favored by 3 points; Over/Under: 43 points
Prediction: The Colts defense won’t be able to shut down Jacksonville as Houston did, but with Gabbert sore the Jaguars will turn to Jones-Drew for the bulk of the offensive load once again. Luck is still maturing but showed he is capable of the late game-winning drive live his predecessor. The Colts should walk away with a comfortable win.
Predicted Score: Indianapolis 17, Jacksonville 10
