Poised for Rookie of the Year and certainly in contention for the league MVP, Andrew Luck leads the Indianapolis Colts Sunday to take on the Tennessee Titans at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Indianapolis is fresh off a 35-33 shootout win over the Detroit Lions last week. Luck overcame three interceptions to lead the Colts down the field for two touchdowns with less than three minutes remaining.

He would go 24-for-54 for 391 yards and four touchdowns, with receiver Donnie Avery making five receptions for 91 yards and two scores.

The Colts have now won six of their last seven games, and received good news earlier this week that head coach Chuck Pagano may return to the sidelines later this month after his treatment for leukemia has concluded.

Indianapolis cannot look past the Titans, who have showed the ability to score but also dwindle late in games.

Tennessee ran into the Houston Texans punishing defense last week and suffered a 24-10 loss. Quarterback Jake Locker threw three interceptions, and was sacked six times, while running back Chris Johnson squeezed out 51 yards on 13 carries.

At 4-8 the Titans haven’t been completely removed from the playoff chase in the weaker AFC, but it would appear to be a long shot with a defense that gives up 29.9 points per game.

Indianapolis will try to pad its 8-4 record, as they face Houston twice in the final four weeks of the season.

Prediction: The Colts need this win and another in Week 16 against Kansas City as a safety net for the playoffs. Luck should have a strong day, and running back Vick Ballard may have his best game of the season. Tennessee’s Johnson should also have big game, but the Colts should win.
