The Infatuation To Host Eeeeeatscon Food Festival In Santa Monica

The Infatuation, the popular platform young people turn to when it’s time to decide where to eat, is launching its own food festival for the next generation in Los Angeles, Eeeeeatscon.

Eeeeeatscon will take place May 20 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The festival will feature 20 top local and international chefs, musical performances, including the Knocks and Lizzo, a full day of panels and keynote speeches from notables in the food world including Shep Gordon will interviewed by one of the Infatuation founders, Chris Stang and Nancy Silverton interviewed by Evan Kleiman of Los Angles station KCRW's show, "Good Food," and endless photo opportunities to tag #Eeeeats, a hashtag that has become an Instagram phenomenon, having been used in more than 6 million food-related photos from around the world.

Eeeeeatscon will create a community where like-minded individuals can gather and celebrate the intersection of food, music and pop culture. Confirmed restaurants include Chi Spacca, Eataly (its first ever presence in Los Angeles), Shake Shack (serving Shack Burgers and Fries with Bone Marrow Gravy), Jon & Vinnys (serving their famous spicy fusilli pasta), Badmaash (serving the popular Chicken Tikka Poutine), Salazar (Frogtown’s hot spot taco shop) Mr. Holmes Bakehouse and special experiences from Nighthawk Breakfast Bar and Tinfoil, Sweetfin Poke, Afters Ice Cream, Ramen Hood, Yeasty Boys, Dream Pops, Matcha Bar and more.
