‘Ink Master’ Season 6 Premieres Date Announced; Follow 'Know Your Enemy' Contestants On Twitter
Another season of “Ink Master,” another dramatic twist. Spike announced Tuesday the sixth season of the hit tattoo reality show will return June 23 and introduce a new challenge for the contestants, titled “Know Your Enemy.”
Following “Rivals” in Season 5, the upcoming installment of the competition will introduce a new set of obstacles for the cast of tattoo artists to overcome. Instead of facing off against their archenemies in the field, the 18 contestants will be split down the middle and forced to compete against their master or apprentice. As the reality show winds down, new rivalries will form outside the matchups.
As in previous seasons of the Spike reality show, each week the artists will compete in challenges that test their creativity, execution and technical skills in all styles of tattooing. Each challenge will bring one contestant closer to the finale and the opportunity to win not only the title of “Ink Master” but also $100,000 and an editorial feature in “Inked” magazine. To get to the end, though, contestants have to impress the judges -- Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction), Chris Nunez (“Miami Ink”) and Oliver Peck (Elm Street Tattoo).
