- The Montecito compound where they shot the docuseries is currently on the market
The mansion where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle filmed their Netflix documentary series "Harry & Meghan" is up for grabs.
While the recently-concluded docuseries focused on the couple's life before and after leaving the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not shoot the project in their multimillion-dollar estate in Montecito, California.
The series was instead shot at a Montecito compound 5.5 kilometers (3.4 miles) away from the Sussexes' home, according to Dirt.
This compound, which was listed by Ryan Malmsten at Santa Barbara Brokers, is now being sold for $33.5 million.
Located on 2 acres of land, the two-story house has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a gym, theater, bar, meditation room and game room, among other amenities.
It is equipped with solar power, a generator and a greywater irrigation system. It also has a five-car garage.
The lavish mansion boasts arched double front doors, which lead to the property's spacious living area. Upon entering, French doors welcome everyone to a veranda that offers an overlooking view of the house's infinity pool. The windows provide a view of the Pacific Ocean.
The mansion also has a bar area and an expansive tile-floored kitchen.
The outdoor area features organic vegetable beds, citrus orchards, banana trees, chicken coops, "secret gardens" and a private well for "sustainable sensibility," according to the listing.
"Vast ocean views, flat grounds, luxe amenities and incredible design coalesce at this iconic Montecito property. Flexible spaces both inside and out make this an intimate home for 2 yet can easily accommodate crowds of over 200," the official listing read.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's six-episode documentary series, which premiered on Netflix on Dec. 8, explored their love story and the highs and lows of their time as working members of the British royal family.
The first part of their docuseries became the highest-viewed documentary series premiere in the history of the streaming giant after racking up 81.55 million viewing hours globally within its first four days of release.
After "Harry & Meghan," Prince Harry and Markle will serve as executive producers of a Nelson Mandela-inspired Netflix project, "Live to Lead." It will premiere on Dec. 31.
