Located in the neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, California, Affleck’s 13,000-square-foot house reportedly has nine bathrooms and seven bedrooms. It has a family room with full bar, a walk-in wine cellar, theater room and a gym.
Sofas are not only found in the living area. In fact, Affleck’s new home has a lot of sofas and they’re everywhere. The said living room has two large sliding crystal doors leading outdoors and a fireplace where Affleck and his kids could bond and share some cool stories during cold nights.
Looking for a gourmet kitchen and breakfast area? Affleck’s home definitely has one and it’s huge with brand new, up-to-date appliances.
Affleck’s home also has an amazingly enormous outdoor lawn where everyone can just gather, have barbeques, swim in the pool or relax at the spa. It also reportedly has a guest house where friends can spend a night or two.
Moving on to Affleck’s master suite. The large room has two walk-in closets —the his and hers, of course. It reportedly has a separate sitting area and dual bathrooms.
The lavish home sitting on a half-acre lot was reportedly built back in 2017. Though earlier seen looking for a new home, Affleck and his girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus, still have no plans of moving in together, Hello! reported.
A tipster allegedly saw Affleck and the “Saturday Night Live” producer visiting two homes with price ranging from $8 million to $10 million with a broker, Realtor.com reported.
Tyler Drew, a real estate developer in Los Angeles, reportedly described the amenities in Affleck’s new home as killer. Drew also emphasized the importance of the theater noting that Affleck isn’t just an actor, he is also a filmmaker.
One reason why Affleck bought the house was its proximity to his ex-wife, Garner. Not for anything else but for the kids. Shane Lee, a real estate analyst, reportedly said it would be easier on Affleck’s part to visit the kids and maintain a good relationship with them.
If one would think that Affleck bought the house to impress his girlfriend or probably anyone, think again. Lee reportedly said that Affleck bought the house for his children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel.
Affleck and Garner parted ways in 2016 but they’re still co-parenting, the Sun reported. The former couple seemed to share the same goal after the split and that is to put their kids first.
