The Indianapolis Colts’ field general is selling is San Diego property for a stiff $4.199 million. Situated on a one-acre lot in Santaluz’s gate community, the house was originally purchased by the NFL legend for $3.299 million. Rivers, 38, along with his nine children -- Halle, 16, Caroline, 13, Grace 12, Gunner, 10, Sarah, 8, Peter, 7, Rebecca, 5, Clare, 3 and newborn daughter Anna -- and wife Tiffany, 38, have been longtime residents of the San Diego abode.

The home measures a sizeable 6,844 square feet and is a private residence barred with surrounding gates. Rivers’ San Diego property also includes six bedrooms, seven baths, an office as well as a media room. The commodious living room area is structured extensively and is an open-floor space suitable for some recreational purposes.

Residents of the Santaluz housing area are immediate members of the village’s very own club. Members have complete access to the club’s up to date facilities such as a fitness center, a pool with spa, an indoor basketball court, tennis courts and an 18-hole golf court. And only a block away from the NFL athelete’s property, the club is also girdled with a number of cafes and fine dining restaurants.

Currently, the exteriors have been reconstructed with upgraded furnishings such as a brand-new gate, a new kitchen, upgraded lighting fixtures as well as other interior appendages. Out back, the home’s immeasurable yard houses neoteric amenities that utterly represents its relaxation space. In here lies a swanky saltwater pool complete with a spa, a barbecue area and a playhouse. The backyard’s miniature putting green is also perfect for some indoor golfing.

Formerly a Los Angeles Chargers’ quarterback for 16 seasons, Philip Rivers delinked with his previous team and recently signed a one-year $25 million contract with the Indianapolis Colts. The 38-year-old also opened up about retirement for the first time after he officially ended his time with the LA Chargers, ESPN reported.

"I think really where we settled in is I still love to play, certainly not coming off my best year [in 2019], but I know I still can play at a high level," the NFL legend shared. Even with the possibility of laying off, Rivers still believed that he could carry forward being quarterback with the NFL. Hence, his newly signed contract with the Colts as a free agent.

Rivers ranks sixth all-time both in passing yards and touchdowns. The quarterback was also fourth in the overall pick during the 2004 NFL draft by the New York Giants. He was eventually traded to the San Diego Chargers for Eli Manning, the Giants’ first overall pick. Rivers and his wife Tiffany recently welcomed their ninth child, daughter Anna Rivers about a month ago, as per Chargers Wire.
