KEY POINTS
- Dwayne Johnson bought a $27.8 million Los Angeles mansion from comedian Paul Reiser

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made a very expensive purchase after shelling out $27.8 million for a luxurious Beverly Park estate in Los Angeles earlier this month.
The Hollywood actor quietly made the purchase through an off-market deal on April 6 with the property’s former owner, comedian Paul Reiser, New York Post first reported.
Johnson’s new mansion is regarded as the largest property in the opulent neighborhood as it sits on 3.67 acres of flat land. The property is so big it has several gates surrounding it for easy in and out access.
The ultra-private house spans 17,630 square feet and features six bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. It also screams luxury in every corner as it comes with top-of-the-line amenities and features.
The Rock would find everything he needs in the property since it has its own tennis court, a massive gym, an indoor pool and a sun-drenched pool and spa. It even has a baseball diamond.
As the “Fast & Furious” actor is known for being a big entertainment guy, it would not be a surprise if he bought the home mostly for its entertainment features. The property apparently has a massive movie theater, a private music room and its very own recording studio.
The estate comes with a long olive tree-lined driveway, an expansive patio, manicured lawns as well as “hidden sanctuaries.” It even has a separate 2,500-square-foot guest house. Given all these amenities, it wasn’t surprising why the listing for the property labeled it as a “complete resort.”
The estate was originally built in 1993 by architect Grant Kirkpatrick. Its location is quite strategic since it offers quick access to the studios and schools in the area, as per Realtor.com.
Meanwhile, the “Jumanji” star and his wife Lauren Hashian previously listed their equestrian estate in Powder Springs, Georgia, back in January. They are selling the 45-acre property for $7.5 million after buying it for $9 million in 2019, and they have yet to get any offers for it.
