Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have successfully unloaded their multimillion-dollar penthouse in New York City.
The Hollywood couple quietly sold their sprawling Manhattan property for $29 million last month, based on property records obtained by New York Post this week.
The 40-year-old singer and the 39-year-old actress never listed the estate on the market. Instead, they privately unloaded the property in an off-market deal.
Timberlake and Biel purchased the penthouse apartment back in 2017 for a whopping $20.2 million. Given the selling price of the property, the couple made a hefty profit through its sale.
A source familiar with the deal exclusively told The Wall Street Journal that the unit was owned by an entity tied to Timberlake. The tipster also noted that the deal was finalized in late December.
The Manhattan condo is located at 443 Greenwich Street in Tribeca. It features 5,375 square feet of living space, including four bedrooms and six bathrooms. It comes with a private terrace, an entertainment room and a chef’s kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances.
Timberlake and Biel’s former residence is decked out with wood beams and arched windows, as seen in the photos obtained by The Post. Designed by Christopher Peacock, the stunning kitchen features wood- and fluted-glass cabinetry.
The building is home to many other celebrities, including Harry Styles, Jennifer Lawrence, and power couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, as per Just Jared. However, it has maintained its reputation of being “paparazzi-proof” through the years thanks to its distinct security features, such as its drive-in, drive-out underground parking garage.
The mystery buyer of Timberlake’s penthouse was listed as Menemshovitz NY Realty Inc. — the same company that purchased the 19th-century cast-iron building where actor Heath Ledger died in 2008. The property was sold for $49 million in November.
Menemshovitz NY Realty also bought the Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts vacation home that the Obama family had rented for three summers in 2018.
The “In Time” actor and his wife also have properties in Los Angeles, Tennessee and Montana, according to Mansion Global.
They put their expansive 10-acre Los Angeles compound on the market for $35 million in October.
