Inside Meghan Markle, Prince Harry's $18M Mansion In Beverly Hills

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are occupying Tyler Perry’s multimillion mansion in Beverly Hills.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced in January that they were stepping back from their roles as senior members of the royal family. Prince Harry and Markle immediately left the U.K. to live in Canada after that.

However, in March, they returned to the U.K. for their final engagements as working royals. Many were shocked when shortly after their return to Canada, several reports claimed that they had moved to the U.S. and started living in a secluded place.

And now Daily Mail has learned that Prince Harry and Markle are actually occupying the ultra-luxury mansion owned by Hollywood tycoon Tyler Perry. The property, which is located in Beverly Hills, reportedly costs over $18 million.

Prince Harry and Markle’s new home is a Tuscan-style villa that sits on 22 acres of land on top of a hill in the exclusive Beverly Ridge Estates guard-gated community. It has eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.

According to TMZ, there is a common connection between the Sussexes and Perry, and it’s Oprah Winfrey. The famous TV personality is very close to the Sussexes. As a matter of fact, she is working on a mental health documentary with Prince Harry.

For fans who want to see what’s inside Prince Harry and Markle’s new home in Los Angeles, Perry filmed an episode of “Objectified” there.

It remains unclear if Markle and Prince Harry are renting Perry’s place or just staying there as guests. There are no records of the mansion being sold.

Prince Harry and Markle’s reported move to the U.S. received various reactions. Some questioned it because Prince Harry flew to Canada before the borders were closed due to the pandemic, so they were surprised that the couple still had time to travel to the United States. And so, some claimed that it could be fake news. However, their move to the U.S. was later confirmed when the royal couple volunteered to deliver hot meals around Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, royal correspondent Chris Ship wondered if Prince Harry and Markle were really in Canada or in the U.S. Prince Harry released a video in April after their alleged moved to America, but many noticed that the background was similar to the one in his video last March, which was taken when they were still in Canada.

“Behind Prince Harry, when he did this video message for WellChild, was he doing it from LA or Canada? Where was he?” Ship said. “It looked very similar to where he did a video message before when we all thought he was in Canada, but now he is in LA.”

According to Ship, it’s either the couple had the kitchen moved to their place in Los Angeles, or they were already in in the U.S. the whole time.
