Investigators Hunt For Two Suspects In Murder Of John Laubach, Chelsea Event Planner
Investigators are on the hunt for two men who they believe are responsible for the brutal murder of a Chelsea event planner. John Laubach, 57, was discovered bound and gagged in his apartment on West 22nd Street earlier this month. Evidence has led police to believe that Edwin Faulkner, 30, and Juan Carlos Martinez-Herrera, 26, killed Laubach on March 2.
Faulkner and Martinez-Herrera were seen attempting to use Laubach's ATM card at a bank nearby. Police later recovered the victim's jewelry at a local pawn shop. The two men have previously been charged with crimes ranging from grand larceny to burglary and robbery. Laubach's friends mentioned that he had befriended two men who were hustlers and grifters before he was killed, though the relationship was not sexual, according to DNA Info.
If you have any information about the whereabouts of Faulkner and Martinez-Herrera, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or to log onto the Crime Stoppers website.
