iPad Pro 2 Launching At WWDC, Expected Features Include Bezel-less display, 10nm processor, Reports
Apple was being projected to launch a new, premium iPad at the start of 2016. Instead, the company quietly launched a new no-frills budget tablet — the iPad.
While that did dampen the buzz about the premium iPad Pro tablet a little, the device still seems to be on the horizon for 2017. According to new reports, it is expected to launch at the World Wide Developers Conference, which takes place in San Jose, California from June 5-9. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities, there is a major possibility that the tablet might be announced at the company’s June 5 keynote, as suppliers are getting ready for mass producing the tablet in early June.

As usual, Apple has been silent on the subject, but new reports on the subject have indicated many new features for the device. These include:
An edge-to-edge display: The 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 might be the world’s first tablet with an edge-to-edge display. It is expected to have the same form factor as the iPad but will give consumers more surface area to work on. The reason behind this, according to Kuo, is that Apple wants to make the tablet appealing to commercial users. Along with Apple Smart Keyboard accessory, the tablet could work as a device for on the go.
Touch Bar: The device is expected to be a premium one, which begs a possibility that Apple would endow it with high-end features from its device range. One such feature is the Touch Bar, a secondary display that was featured on the MacBook Pro 2016. The Touch Bar will give users access to shortcuts and emojis, among other things. It will also differentiate the device from rest of the tablets in the market.
Apple Pencil 2: According to reports, Apple is prepping a revamp of the accessory, which was launched with the iPad Pro 12.9-inch. The new Apple Pencil is said to be magnetic, and the tablet is expected to have an electromagnetic strip, which will double up as a charging point and dock for the Apple Pencil 2.
iOS 11: The company is expected to reveal the next version of iOS at the event The iPad Pro 2 is expected to come loaded with the OS out-of-the-box. iOS 11 is expected to bring features such as an improved Siri, improved maps and enhanced 3D touch.
12-megapixel camera: The device is expected to have a 12-megapixel camera with features such as 4K video recording and Live Photos.

Kuo projects that Apple might sell 5-6 million units of iPad Pro 2 in fiscal year 2017 and that the tablet will comprise around 15 percent of total iPad sales this year. He further adds that the likelihood of Apple launching iPad Pro 2 at WWDC 2017 is even higher than the company’s rumored Siri-speaker.
