iPhone 11, Pro And Pro Max Deals On Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint
The annual rite of autumn in the U.S. that is the reveal, pre-order and release of Apple’s new iPhones this year brings with it cheaper phones sporting better cameras to replace the iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max from 2018.
Of course, wireless providers such as Verizon and AT&T, the country’s largest carriers, are jockeying to provide the best deals to consumers.
The 2019 Gang of Three includes the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max and were revealed Sept. 10. The latter two are Apple's top-end handsets this year. The iPhone 11 replaces the iPhone XR.
The 2019 phones are big on camera quality. For the first time, there’s now a dual lens sensor on the cheaper model, the iPhone 11. This phone starts at $699, which is cheaper than the iPhone XR was at its launch on Sept. 12, 2018.
Apple claims the 2019 phones also have the "highest quality video recording in a smartphone.” Only users can verify that boast but the phones sports a 12MP wide camera with a 26mm lens. This camera comes paired with a 12MP ultra-wide lens that has a 120 degree field of view.
As for smarts, Apple claims the A13 Bionic chipset in these phones plus the fastest CPU and GPU in any smartphone make the 2019 trio the best ever. Apple also says the battery in the iPhone 11 lasts an hour longer than the iPhone XR.
The announced schedule for the new iPhones will see pre-orders probably starting Sept. 13 while the first phones will be released on the 20th. Here’s what the three phones will cost with deals from major carriers.
Verizon, Sprint and AT&T have issued their prelim pricing plans. No word yet from T-Mobile.
Verizon’s Get More Unlimited and Play More Unlimited plans both include free Apple Music. Its Do More Unlimited and Start Unlimited plans both include six months of free Apple Music.
