iPhone 11 Release Confirmed As High-End Case Maker Teases 11 Max?
With all the negative reactions that Apple’s supposed iPhone 11 phones are getting based on leaks and rumors, it almost came as no surprise when rumors pointed to a possible cancellation of their flagship phones this year.
IBTimes earlier reported that Apple insider Ming-Chi Kuo said that the Cupertino giant will be prioritizing what’s perceived to be the next iPhone SE but with flagship specs. The news, which was first reported by Forbes, said that Apple will be replacing its current 5.8-inch phones with a significantly smaller 5.4-inch smartphone.
However, a teaser courtesy of a high-end phone case maker shows what seems to be the iPhone 11 Max, fanning speculations that Apple is indeed coming up with a new lineup this year.
According to Slash Gear, accessories maker Olixar released an interesting teaser of its new high-resolution case. Based on the render, one can clearly see a new iPhone being used and many perceive that it is the iPhone 11 Max. Olixar is a high-end case brand that creates cases and screen protectors for a number of smartphone models.
Based on the render, one can see an iPhone with a square-shaped camera cluster meaning the 11 Max will also have triple cameras at the back. The teaser also showed the mute switch which has a round orientation instead of the usual bar. It also moves up and down instead of the usual back and forth direction. The reason for the change may be to give way to a slimmer iPhone.
The teaser also showed that there’s no difference when it comes to how the iPhone looks like in the front but it might have a smaller notch. The charging port seems to remain compatible with a lightning cable but doesn’t rule out the possibility that a USB-C adapter may come with the package.
Per some news, Apple is slowly preparing users to expect the USB-C port in future iPhones, something that can definitely be an advantage in the long run as it offers a fast charging option.
Should Apple push with the iPhone 11 release this year (which is very likely to happen as the Cupertino company is a creature of habit), then expect the new lineup to be released by this September as well.
