All the details regarding the next flagship iOS smartphone, the iPhone 11, seemed to have been confirmed based on supposed leaks from reliable Apple insiders. All that we’re really waiting for is an actual acknowledgment from Apple itself.

So far, analysts believe that the changes that will occur might not be as appealing as the supposed groundbreaking functions of the iPhone 12 that’s expected to come out next year and that 2019’s iPhone 11 could be ugly, literally.

Still, there’s no denying that this year’s phone holds an important role in the advancement of future iPhones. According to a report from Forbes, these features have already been confirmed based on recent leaks from reliable Apple insider Guilherme Rambo. Rambo is considered a regular source of Apple news by 9to5Mac.

According to the Forbes report, Rambo referenced people who have actually seen the new device and identified the significant hardware changes of the new iPhones. This includes the A13 chipset codenamed “Cebu.” The chipset carries the model number T8030.

Apple is said to be banking a lot on the A13 chipset, with some referring to it as the cornerstone of future phones from the Cupertino giant. Per the report, the chip which is part of the iOS smartphone’s new logic board and is capable of enhancing a number of important functions including powering the new triple-camera technology, which is set to have the “Smart Frame” function.

Smart Frame basically allows users to correct badly shot photos by using extra details from images taken using the wide frame lens. The feature won’t be a burden to the phone’s memory because Apple would automatically delete unused details or images in time.

Another positive side of the leaked info is Apple’s supposed replacement to the 3D Touch. According to Rambo, the iPhone 11 line will all get a replacement called “leap haptics.” It’s not really clear how this works but details show that the function will be powered by something called a “Taptic Engine.”

For the negatives, apart from the somewhat boring triple-camera module, all phones will continue to have the same screen type as the older models. The premium models will retain the OLED panels and the iPhone XR 2 will sport an LCD screen.
