According to the site, UBI Research’s Analyst Chung-Hoon recently shared some details on the pricing of the upcoming flagship smartphone from Apple. Based on the report, the analyst claimed that the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 would retail at a starting price of $700.

Based on earlier leaks and rumors, Apple’s 5.4-inch iPhone 12 is loaded with the latest tech and features. Chung-Hoon’s statement could mean that the Cupertino tech giant has finally identified a new trend when it comes to premium smartphones with an affordable price tag. Apple recently released the entry-level iPhone SE 2020, which retails at $399 housing the same A13 Bionic chip found on the current generation iPhone 11 series.

Aside from the retail price of the 5.4-inch iPhone 12, Chung-Hoon also revealed the price scheme of Apple for the 6.1-inch iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The higher tier iPhone 12 Pro Max would reportedly retail at $1,099 while the iPhone 12 Pro would be released at a starting price of $999. Meanwhile, the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 would retail at $750 or just a $50 increase from the price of the 5.4-inch iPhone 12.

Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal recently reports that the Cupertino tech juggernaut’s iPhone production is delayed for about a month. In other words, the highly awaited next generation flagship iPhone series might arrive later than the traditional September release window. The site points out the production delay could be due to the effects of the current global health crisis caused by the COVID-19.
