iPhone 4S, iPad 3 to Ship Late October, No Word on iPhone 5 Release Date: Report

There have been previous rumors that manufacturers were preparing for the production of the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 in order to meet an October release. Now Macotakara is reporting that the iPhone 4S, which is based on the iPhone 4 (CDMA), as well as the new iPad will come out at the same time - late October.

That report didn't say much about the iPhone 5 release date but it also didn't rule out a launch.

I've not found any information about iPhone 5 at this time, it said.

MacPost recently released a photo of a partial device showing what appears to be an iPhone 4-like design. Market analyst have said that Apple will be launching two new iPhone models in mid-October, which is the iPhone 5 targeted and the iPhone 4S.

MacPost has also reported that the low cost iPhone 4S option will have cheaper components inside an iPhone 4 body while the iPhone 5 will have a wider, taller, and thinner look with a curved back, according to MacPost.
