iPhone Pro 11 Features Slim AirBattery, Split View, Square Design In Concept Phone
When news came out that the next edition of Apple’s smartphone, informally labeled the iPhone 11, might actually be the much-anticipated iPhone Pro, reactions quickly turned from underwhelmed to excited.
Some analysts were already expecting a lackluster follow-up to last year’s model but it seems Apple might have a surprise up its sleeves. Shadowed by some strong introductions this year, such as Samsung and Huawei’s foldable phones and Android 5G gadgets, some have wondered how the Cupertino company can keep up. Apple’s own foldable iPhone and 5G device are only slated to be released next year so some fear that the company could already be late in the game.
However, reliable sources offering credible “leaks” point to the possibility that the Tech Giant might very well introduce the long-awaited iPhone Pro. Japanese blog Mac Otakara, who often gives credible updates on Apple’s Chinese supply chain, claims that the company might be coming out with five new iPhone models this year. Among those five, two could be labeled under the speculated “iPhone Pro” range.
The iPhone Pro is expected to be Apple’s latest offering under its premium smartphone range. Part of its features include thinner and lighter chassis, improved triple cameras and USB-C fast chargers.
The speculation of a possible iPhone Pro reveal has been so exciting that designers have come up with some gorgeous rendering of the next Apple smartphone. According to a report, designer Gunho Lee collaborated with ConceptsiPhone to give us an idea of how the iPhone Pro 11 could turn out.
The design from Lee imagines the next iPhone with some cool iPad Pro features. First is the square edges. The next iPhone might drop the curved edge design that’s considered an Apple smartphone signature. Gunho Lee’s render looks strikingly like the 2018 iPad Pro and the older iPhone SE which proved quite popular with the crowd. Value Walk’s report also said that the devices will have a “bezel-less design with a display notch.”
For the phone camera, the triple camera with an improved sensor is also in the concept version. An LED flash is seamlessly integrated into the triple camera panel as well to address instant lighting needs.
The concept phone also has the exciting slim AirBattery feature that would magnetically attach to the rear of the iPhone for more battery life. This set-up could make way for the “PowerDrop” charging which would allow compatible devices like earphones and Apple Watch to be charged just by putting them on top of the phone.
The concept version of the iPhone 11 could also have a wider screen which would make a split view of tabs possible, kind of like how you use a MacBook. Other features might also include an A13 processor and a built-in iOS 13 software.
