Apple's iPhone X, the company's 2017 flagship device, might be its most advanced yet, but it seems that it is also the one plagued by the most issues.

The latest problem to have hit the device is the emergence of green lines on either side of the display. Though the issue has not affected all iPhone X handsets, it has appeared on a sustantial number of them and users have taken to outlets such as Reddit, Twitter and Apple’s support forums to complain about it.

It's not even been a month since the since the device hit the shelves, yet users who have purchased the premium device priced at more than $1,000 have been complaining about the various issues affecting it.

Here’s a look at five issues that have affected the iPhone X since its launch:

Green line issue: The issue seems to be a hardware one with the iPhone X’s OLED display — a bright green line stretches over either side of the display. However, it doesn’t seem to be a hardware issue entirely, since the line does not emerge immediately upon booting, but seems to have developed over time. Even doing a factory reset on the device doesn’t make it go away. Apple is yet to acknowledge the issue, so a fix might take time to be issued.

However, the company seems to be collecting data and is even offering a replacement for the affected devices, according to MacRumors.

Freezing in the cold: Some users reported Thursday that their iPhone X freezes for some time when taken outdoors in cold temperatures, with the device not registering the touch of users' fingers. The issue could either be one with the device’s light sensors or with one of its internal components that is getting affected by the change in temperature.

Apple has confirmed the issue and is working on a fix for it.

GPS issue: Users have reported the GPS functionality is not working properly on both the iPhone 8 and iPhone X. The GPS on the devices doesn’t seem to be working accurately for both Apple Maps and Google Maps. Users have taken their devices to Apple stores, but even the employees there are unable to fix the issue.

Resetting the smartphone doesn’t help in this regard. However, the issue was fixed once some users installed the iOS 11.2 Beta update, so chances are that the official 11.2 update will resolve it.

Autocorrect bug: The issue caused problems with texting on the iPhone X— when users typed the letter “i” really fast, the phone automatically changed it to “A.”

The issue emerged after the iOS 11.1 update. Apple acknowledged the issue and has issued a fix for it in iOS 11.1.1.

OLED burn-in: The iPhone X OLED display seems to have issues with burn-in. OLED displays decay over time causing some pixels to die out, making very small parts of the display look blacked out. The display on the device also looks off-color when viewed from a certain angle.

Apple has stated that this is normal behavior for OLED displays and that it is normal for some users to see these changes on their device displays.
