Ireland Baldwin has officially emerged from the shadow of her famous parents. The daughter of "30 Rock" actor Alec Baldwin and model Kim Basinger scored her first monumental modeling job: the cover of Beach Modern Luxury magazine's July issue.

The 17-year-old, who discussed everything from her newfound modeling career to her professional acting aspirations in the publication, also showed off her beach body in the magazine's Surf & Sport edition. "The paths my modeling career will take me on," said Baldwin, referring to her five-year plan. "I'm excited to work and study acting as well."

The teen model signed with IMG Models and Two Management, dished her love for the social media platform Vine, her affection for pug dogs, surfing and shared a previously unreported childhood memory despite growing up in the spotlight. "I lived in Africa for a little while," Baldwin said. "So I was a real-life Cady Heron [from 'Mean Girls']."

This isn't the first time Baldwin has expressed the desire to get into the acting business. When discussing plans for her upcoming 18th birthday this fall, the model told Entertainment Tonight last month she had caught the acting bug. "Hopefully, I'll be beginning acting school by then," she said. " [I'll be] just getting a little bit more serious about life ... definitely just kind of trekking forward, onward with my journey."

Baldwin, who also discussed her love for the beach while posing in a white bikini for the shoot, was previously spotted frolockling with her boyfriend, professional paddle boarder Slater Trout in June. The rising star was seen kissing her 18-year-old athlete beau after attending a paddle boarding competition in Santa Monica, Calif., on June 10.
