Irina Shayk Poses Semi-Topless for February Esquire But Says ‘No’ to Playboy [PHOTOS]
Supermodel Irina Shyak posed semi-topless for the February 2012 issue of Esquire UK but insists that she would never bare it all for Playboy.
I would never do Playboy. Yes, I am a lingerie model, but I have class. Playboy offered me so much money last year. I was like, 'No. Way,' said the sexy fiancé of soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Daily Mail shows the full editorial spread, including a shot of her in just black underwear giving an alluring glance.
Undoubtedly, the Russian supermodel is known for her bodacious bod and sultry good looks. The Esquire editorial is not the first time Shayk has shed her clothes. She is known for her work with Sports Illustrated, Victoria's Secret, Germaine De Capuccini Skin Care and swimwear brand Luli Fama. Her Luli Fama spread earned her the No. 6 spot for Sexiest Ads of 2011.
But, alas, Playboy is not her thing (sorry, Lindsay).
Alright Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer did it. Bu they did it at the end of their career and it was classy. I think of myself as a cover girl. But I would never do some kind of cheesy magazine, said Shayk.
In the Esquire shoot she poses seductively in black lingerie and patent leather pumps, draped over a banister and propped against a wall. She said that she has always been a stilettos girl. I love high heels from the age of 10! Short skirts and then high heels. My classmates used to make fun of me. Like, 'Ooh, she's so skinny and she's wearing high heels.'
She added that the boys in her class did not show a liking towards her. But I just wore what I like and I didn't care about people's opinions, the same as I don't care now. Boys never liked me at school. They made fun of me 'cos I had dark skin.
In February of last year, Shayk and Ronaldo became engaged on Valentine's Day. They had been talking about marriage. Cristiano wanted something very special and romantic, and on Valentine's Day he travelled to New York to surprise Irina, said a friend of the couple.
