Iron Man Edition Of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Priced At $2,499 [VIDEO]

The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Edition can now be purchased in the U.S. Online retailer 28Mobile now lists this special model of the S6 Edge. Below is a video explaining the device’s design and other aesthetics.

Clad in shimmery red and gold nano coating, Marvel’s Iron Man comes to life with the new phone. Samsung gave details about the phone in an official blog post: “Multiple color layers are infused into a single solid color” for the chassis of the premium-looking Galaxy S6 Edge, Phone Arena reported.

The Iron Man edition utilizes a new theming engine via a TouchWiz user interface (UI) overlay. The phone will reportedly be priced at $2,499. Interested buyers can purchase the device from 28Mobile.

Here is a summary of the phone's specifications. The handset features a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display, aided by 1,440 x 2,560 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the phone comes powered by a 64-bit, octa-core Samsung Exynos 7420 SoC, running at 2.1 GHz. On the software front, the phone runs on Google's Android v5.0.2 Lollipop operating system, but is upgradable to Android v5.1.1 Lollipop. Plus, the hardware components are backed by 3 GB of RAM.

The phone also comes with 64 GB of in-built storage capacity. But there is no microSD flash memory card slot for further expansion. Plus, there is a 16 MP rear-facing camera unit bundled with OIS support. In addition, there is a 5 MP snapper unit for selfies and video chats. A nonremovable Li-Ion 2,600 mAh battery unit completes the device.
