Ivanka Trump, Marla Maples Have ‘Tension-Filled’ Relationship Unlike First Daughter, FLOTUS Melania

Ivanka Trump and Marla Maples have a “tension-filled” relationship.

Ivanka doesn’t quite like President Donald Trump’s second wife. Ivanka is one of Donald’s three children with his first wife, Ivana. According to previous reports, Maples was the other woman in Donald and Ivana’s marriage. Their union fell apart when the businessman-turned-politician started an affair with the model.

When Donald married Maples, the first daughter didn’t attend the celebration. While Ivanka gained a stepmother, she didn’t celebrate it. Instead, she opted to stay at home with her mom.

Also, in 2017, Maples shared a throwback photo of a teenage Ivanka with her half-sister Tiffany while they enjoyed skiing in Telluride, Colorado. In the caption, Maples wrote, “Appreciating moments with these two special girls,” referring to her daughter and step-daughter. However, Ivanka insisted that they were not close.

“I’m not. She was out in California and really my relationship is with Tiffany,” Ivanka said addressing her relationship with Maples.

In an interview with People, Ivanka confessed that she and Tiffany would see each other on all of the holidays and they talked to each other frequently. However, she doesn’t share the same connection to Tiffany’s mom, Maples.

“She’s my little sister! I've been close to Tiffany her whole life, and I really love her,” Ivanka said of Tiffany.

Meanwhile, Ivana shared how Ivanka reacted when she learned that Donald and her were divorcing. Ivanka reportedly went home crying. She also asked her mom if she would no longer be “Ivana Trump.”

Meanwhile, Donald Jr. was furious following their parents’ divorce. He reportedly told the POTUS that he didn’t love them. The 12-year-old Donald Jr. lashed at her father and said he didn’t even love himself only his money, Ivana’s friends shared.

While Ivanka is not that close to Maples, her mom revealed that her relationship with the POTUS’ current wife, Melania, is fine. Ivana spoke about the relationship of her daughter and Donald’s third’s wife in an interview with The Atlanta.

“She likes her [Melania] fine, because she didn’t cause me to break up the marriage like the other one—I don’t even want to pronounce her name,” Ivana said, implying about how Maples broke her and Donald’s marriage.
