Ivanka Trump Mocked Over Thanksgiving Table Centerpiece
Ivanka Trump was mocked on social media on Thursday after a failed attempt to help people decorate their Thanksgiving tables. The first daughter shared a picture on Twitter of the "timeless" Thanksgiving centerpiece featured on her website, which she considers to be "beyond the conventional cornucopia." It has come under scrutiny on social media as many are confused as to what the centerpiece is.
Trump utilized the expertise of an interior decorator to provide people suggestions for creating a "stylish" Thanksgiving table. The blog post also boasts ideas on cost-effective ways to find centerpiece materials in nature and create DIY placements, among others.

"I wanted a centerpiece that could stay on the kitchen island and last without going out of style," Allison Domonoske, an interior decorator, said on Trump's website. "I've kept this huge antique shell for about three years and they're everywhere right now in home décor."
Added Domonoske, "When it's time for Christmas or Hanukkah, you can switch out the pumpkins for another accent. Last year, I filled the entire clam shell with tiny pink and turquoise ornaments."
Twitter was unimpressed with Trump's problem-solving efforts. Many users equated the centerpiece to be either "hideous," "garbage" or "the ugliest setup." Several echoed one user's comments that claimed Trump doesn't "have any...taste," despite having the ability to afford "the finer things."
This is the ugliest set up I’ve ever seen. YALL REALLY MIXED A CLAM BOAT WITH SEASONAL GOURDS?! No ma’am!

It looks like someone raked up their backyard and threw the pile into a big clamshell.

Trump's website aims to provide solutions to make life easier for women, with her Thanksgiving centerpiece idea being no exception to this. She pulls from industry leaders to help cultivate useful content for her readers so they can achieve their "own version of success."
"Our company was founded by women for women," Trump's website reads. "We're focused on solutions and we work to create content and product that's made to make your days a little bit easier. Think, the ultimate work tote (phone charger, included!), layering pieces that can be worn multiple ways and form-flattering dresses with hidden shapewear built in."
Other solutions Trump's website has shared include writing a handwritten letter, best travel beauty products and Friendsgiving tips, among others.
