‘iZombie’ Season 3 Spoilers: First Look At Rose McIver As Dominatrix Liv Moore [PHOTO]

“iZombie” star Rose McIver has revealed Liv Moore’s dominatrix look.

On Tuesday, Sept. 20, the 27-year-old actress shared a photo of herself wearing her costume as dominatrix Liv. In the Instagram photo, the New Zealand thespian is sporting a black leather jacket on top of a black dress. She’s also holding a black whip in her left hand, completing her look as a female dom.

“iZombie” executive producers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright revealed that Liv is going to eat a dominatrix’s brain in Season 3 at the show’s San Diego Comic-Con last July.

“Give the people what they want!” Thomas said (via TVLine) when asked why they decided to make Liv a dominatrix at one point in the next installment.

“Rose is good at everything. She’s gonna be the best dom,” Ruggiero-Wright added.

When asked about researching the role, McIver said, “I’m going to have to clear my browser history repeatedly.”

A week ago, McIver revealed the exact Season 3 episode where Liv will be eating a dominatrix’s brain. “Day one Episode 5. I eat a dominatrix brain this episode. One of our crew members, Trance, genuinely wears a straight jacket to work. Let the training begin. #BehindtheBrains,” she captioned an Instagram clip.

While Liv will be eating the dominatrix’s brain in Season 2, Episode 5, the effect of that particular brain may last for more episodes.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly last month, Thomas revealed that “Ravi [Rahul Kohli] will stumble upon a recipe to make zombie visions more vivid and longer lasting.”

As for the cure for zombiism, Ravi will continue to perfect it next season, but Thomas reminded fans at Comic-Con that once the medical examiner succeeds in finding the cure, that would mean the end of the show. So viewers can expect more test runs, but little success and perhaps more shocking side effects.

“iZombie” Season 3 will debut in midseason on The CW.
