Jackie Chan alive and well despite Internet death rumor

Celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Natalie Portman have all been victims of online death rumors. The last victim was actor Jackie Chan.

Rumors were circulating the Internet that he had died after suffering a heart attack, but he is in fact alive and well.

Jackie is alive and well, reads a note on his Facebook page. He did not suffer a heart attack and die, as was reported on many social networking sites and in online news reports.

The 56-year-old actor has been busy preparing and filming his new movie, according to the post on Facebook.

For those out there who are still skeptical, Chan posted a photo of himself dated March 29 on his website showing him meeting with top Japanese officials.

Jackie met with Yuji Kumamaru, Consul-General of Japan in Hong Kong to discuss the details of 'Love without Borders 3/11 Candlelight Gala read the caption on the photo. The Gala will benefit the victims of the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan.
