Jamie Lee Curtis had a great working experience with Lindsay Lohan when they did “Freaky Friday” about 20 years ago.

The 62-year-old Hollywood actress opened up about what it was like working with the former teen star in their hit comedy with The Hollywood Reporter this week.

According to Curtis, Lohan, who is now 35, was very delightful at the time when they made the film when she was still 15 years old. She also gushed over the idea that Lohan was very talented despite her young age then.

“I want to remind you, Lindsay was 15, a young 15-year-old, who was really talented. The combination of talent and teen is beautiful and challenging for anybody. She was delightful,” the Golden Globe winner said of the “Mean Girls” star.

Curtis admitted that she also noticed the times when Lohan struggled portraying an adult in the movie where their characters had a body-switching experience due to some bizarre events.

“At the same time, you’ve put a child in an adult position of working. There were moments that were hard for her,” she recalled.

Nevertheless, Curtis commended Lohan and shared that they had such a “wonderful time together” on the set. She then added that to this day she’s a “big champion for her because I think she’s remarkable.”

“Freaky Friday” was released in 2003 — a time when Curtis was already an established Hollywood actress thanks to the “Halloween” franchise while Lohan was still a rising star.

The movie tells the story about an overworked mother, Dr. Coleman (Curtis), and her daughter Anna (Lohan) who seem to not get along well because of the different situations in their lives. A body switch makes them realize the struggles that each of them have to face, making them understand each other better.

In a 2012 interview with IGN, Lohan said that “Freaky Friday” came to her at such a wonderful time after doing two Disney Channel projects.

“I went to high school, and I did two Disney Channel things which were fun, just to keep up. And then, Freaky Friday came along, and it was just like, ‘Wow, this is a great script, and it would be perfect for me to come back with this,’” she said.
