We’ve got some exciting baby news for “Jane the Virgin” fans – and it has to do with an off-screen pregnancy! Justin Baldoni, who plays dreamy bad boy Rafael Solano on the hit CW series, is expecting his first child with wife Emily Foxler.

The parents-to-be released an almost 10 minute video on Youtube to share their happy news with fans. The video is a compilation of Baldoni and his wife revealing their pregnancy to family and friends, and their excited (and very emotional) reactions. Their special video ends with them opening up the envelope that reveals the baby’s gender … but unfortunately they decide to keep that information a secret from viewers. However, fans of the couple did find out their due date – June 2015!

Baldoni’s news means that he’s expecting a baby on – and – off screen. On “Jane the Virgin,” Baldoni’s character, Rafael, is the biological father of Jane’s (Gina Rodriguez) baby. Fans will remember that Jane was accidentally inseminated with his sperm.
