Janet Jackson Update: Singer Doesn’t Respond After ‘Secret Daughter’ Tiffany Whyte Speaks Out
“Nasty” singer Janet Jackson remained quiet on social media after her “secret daughter,” Tiffany Whyte, gave an interview with Radar Online Tuesday. The 31-year-old claimed Jackson and James DeBarge were her parents, but Jackson has never acknowledge having a child with her first husband, whom she was married to for one year in 1985.
In fact, the 50-year-old singer welcomed a baby boy, Eissa, with her second husband, Wissam Al Mana, Jan. 3. Her mother, Katherine, met the child last month. “It seems like her family is staying close to help and support Janet,” a source told E! Online Feb. 8.

Jackson didn’t share details about her pregnancy and she exhibited the same secrecy when she married Al Mana in 2012. “We were married in a quiet, private and beautiful ceremony,” the couple said in a brief statement at the time. “Our wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective favorite children's charities.” The newlyweds added, “The rumors regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true.”
Jackson is “totally in love” with being a mother, a source said. “She is taking time to just be with her baby at this time and that’s all she really wants.”
“She has hired help at home and her husband been with her through it all. It was a difficult pregnancy, but she is very blessed and has a healthy baby,” the insider continued. “A select few have seen her baby. She is so excited to be a mom.”
While Jackson enjoying her son, she never addressed her alleged daughter. Whyte claimed to be the singer’s daughter after she matched a DNA test with her supposed paternal grandmother, Etterlene DeBarge. “[Janet] has been denying me for many years,” Whyte said in an exclusive interview with Radar Online. “I waited 31 years.”
