Janice Dickinson Suffers Bee Sting On ‘Celebrity Big Brother’; Reportedly ‘Almost Died’ From Allergic Reaction [VIDEO]
Janice Dickinson had to temporarily leave the “Celebrity Big Brother” house on Tuesday. The former supermodel was stung by a bee and suffered a severe allergic reaction.
TMZ reports that Dickinson, 60, was on live television in the U.K. when she was stung. Viewers watched her as she asked for an EpiPen and medical treatment. A video of the incident shows Dickinson pointing out her discolored hands. “I don’t want it to reach my heart,” she says.
Though the show briefly cut away from the drama, the cameras returned to Dickinson before she received medical attention. Dickinson soon suffered what appeared to be a seizure and was taken to the hospital. Watch the clip of Dickinson's allergic reaction on “Celebrity Big Brother” below:
Dickinson is reportedly fine now. “Janice was taken to a hospital for a few hours for treatment, and then returned to the house,” a representative for “Celebrity Big Brother” told TMZ. However the website notes that sources close to the reality star say that she “almost died” because she is extremely allergic.
“Celebrity Big Brother” is currently hosting several American celebrities alongside British stars in a special U.S. vs. U.K. edition of the show. The American cast seems to be making plenty of headlines during their stay, and the show only premiered last week.
Reality star Tila Tequila also had to leave the house, but she wasn’t allowed back in. Tila was kicked out of the house for a 2013 blog post she made in support of Adolf Hitler. “Back in 2013 I made a statement about Hitler not being a bad person, and immediately realized soon after that I had made a terrible mistake that would ultimately come back to haunt me,” Tequila wrote in a Facebook apology. “Celebrity Big Brother” still has not let her back into the house.
“Celebrity Big Brother” airs in the U.K. on Channel 5.
