How far can you go to express your love for something you admire? In a bizarre incident, a Japanese man spent a large sum to look like a dog, his favorite animal, and his transformation is now going viral on the internet.
The man, who shared the video of his transformation on YouTube on April 16, said he always wanted to look like an animal and it was a "dream come true" moment for him when he saw the results.
In the video, the man, now completely unrecognizable after having been wholly transformed into a four-legged person, walks into the frame and greets the viewers with adorable messages.
"Have you ever wanted to be an animal? I have! I made my dream come true like this," his YouTube video caption reads.

The user "Toco" fulfilled his long-standing wish to look like a dog with the help of special effects workshop Zeppet who built a hyper-realistic dog costume for him. The total cost of the costume came to around 2 million yen ($15,726.61), iNews reported.
His transformation images are also doing rounds on Twitter after Zeppet shared them on their official handle.
The company said on Twitter that it took them a lot of effort to come up with the costume, which is made out of synthetic fur. After nearly 40 days of meticulous work, the costume was ready to be worn.
The amount of attention Toco gained in the country only increased after one of Japan's national channels invited him on live television Monday, according to iNews.
Toco told the outlet that he nurtured the dream of becoming a dog ever since he was a child and closely watched the daily behavior of dogs for many years.
Pictures obtained by the outlet show the man pulling off some cute dog stunts, including squats, rolling onto the floor and getting back up again, with sheer perfection. A screengrab from the TV host's on-air encounter with Toco shows the former stooping to feed the "dog" as the latter is seen down on the floor on all fours.
