Jared Leto Is Reportedly 'Dating Around' After Split From Valery Kaufman

Jared Leto is reportedly back on the dating scene after recently breaking up with model Valery Kaufman.

"Jared Leto and Valery Kaufman broke up," a source told ET, adding the "House of Gucci" actor has been active on the dating scene following the split. "He is single and has been dating around," the source revealed.

The 50-year-old actor has had a string of relationships with well-known celebrities like Ashley Olsen, Lindsay Lohan, Katy Perry, Cameron Diaz and Scarlett Johansson. However, his relationship with Kaufman, 28, was the longest, Cosmopolitan noted.

The pair was first linked to each other in 2015, while the actor was filming "Suicide Squad." The former couple was always private about their romance. They were rarely seen together, but a source told People in 2020, "They initially seemed to be friends. They would meet up with groups of people and all hang out. They didn't go on solo dates."

The source added, "Over the years, things seem to have turned romantic. They have been off and on now for a few years, but seem to spend more time together lately."

Neither Leto nor Kaufman have commented on their relationship.

Leto told Rolling Stone in 2016 he has no plans of sharing anything about the romantic aspect of his life to the public. "Even if I was in a relationship or maybe if I was having kids, I don't know if I would share that information publicly." He added, "You know what I've learned about women? I know absolutely nothing about women. The older I get, it's just people. I just see people."

The Oscar-winning actor also told the outlet he was unsure if he will ever get married. "It's just how things are," he said.

In May, Kaufman seemingly confirmed she was seeing someone new when she uploaded a photo of her and an unidentified man while on a vacation in St. Tropez, France.

"Postcard from Saint-Tropez," she wrote alongside two snaps of her cozying up with a mystery man in an outdoor location.

Meanwhile, Leto was spotted hanging out with Leonardo DiCaprio earlier this month in New York City. DiCaprio also earlier broke up with his girlfriend for 4 years, Camila Morrone.
