Golfer Jason Dufner and his wife, social media darling Amanda Dufner, have reached a divorce settlement, according to a report. The exact reason for the split has yet to be revealed, though court filings cited “a complete incompatibility of temperament that the parties can no longer live together,” according to GolfChannel.com.

Jason and Amanda Dufner suffered an “irretrievable breakdown of the marriage,” according to the divorce documents, which were filed on March 16. They reportedly separated on Feb. 17 and have been living apart. The divorce was expected to be approved by a judge and become final in April.

Under the settlement’s terms, Jason Dufner will retain ownership of the couple’s two homes, both of which are located in Auburn, Alabama. Meanwhile, Amanda Dufner will receive $2.5 million. Neither Jason nor Amanda Dufner has publicly commented on the divorce.

The Dufners have a massive following on the Internet and social media. First, a photo of Jason Dufner slumped against a wall during a March 2013 visit to the Salesmanship Youth and Family Centers went viral, which led to the rise of the “Dufnering” meme. Several PGA Tour golfers posted photos of themselves imitating Dufner’s pose.

Months later, Amanda Dufner received plenty of media attention when Jason Dufner won the PGA Championship in August 2013. Her Instagram account had thousands of followers before she deactivated it this week, as Golf Digest notes.

Jason graduated from Auburn University, while Amanda attended the University of Alabama, according to East Alabama Living. They met through a mutual friend, got engaged in 2011 and married in May 2012.

Jason Dufner has three career wins on the PGA Tour, one of which was a major championship. He has earned more than $7 million during his career in professional golf.
