Jay Cutler, Kristin Cavallari Engaged Again?

Update, 5:42 p.m.: Cavallari has since tweeted a denial of the engagement story.

Kristin Cavallari and former fiancee Jay Cutler are engaged once again, according to Life and Style magazine.

Kristin is over the moon with happiness, a source reportedly told Life & Style. She's already told her friends that the engagement is back on. They haven't set a new date yet.

The Chicago Bears quarterback famously left Cavallari nearly at the altar: Cutler abruptly ended their engagement on July 23, just days after Cavalli had been photographed in her wedding dress for a Life & Style spread (though the wedding date was expected to be somewhere in 2012).

Cutler was reportedly impatient with Cavallari's unwillingness to put her devotion to him ahead of her craving for the spotlight.

Cavallari joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars shortly after the broken engagement, which reportedly left her heartbroken.

Thought she was eventually eliminated on Dancing with the Stars, Cutler came out to support her, sparking speculation that the couple was getting back together.

And reunite they did: Cavallari reinforced her commitment to Cutler after being accused of coming between Kourtney Kardashian and her boyfriend Scott Disick.

It's 100 percent not true, Cavallari told Access Hollywood. And I just think what convenient timing for them with their show premiering next week and with everything that's going on with Kim I feel like they're trying to take some of the heat off of her.

It's disrespectful to me and Jay, Cavallari added.

The timing works out well for Culter -- he will have a devoted (and happy) woman by his side while he covers from a broken thumb. The quarterback injured his thumb in Sunday's game and is expected to be out for an extended time, though the Bears coach said he expects Cutler to return before the end of the season.
