Late night talk show host Jay Leno’s efforts to draw humor from the acquittal of Casey Anthony of murder charges were met with derision and apathy from his studio audience.

During his tiresome monologue, Leno said, It was so hot today, people were as delirious and incoherent as a Florida jury.

After that failed to generate the hilarity he sought, Leno then declared: This [verdict] means President Obama’s economic team is only the second most clueless group of people in America.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, he actually repeated the lame joke again.
