Jayson Tatum's net worth and endorsement deals are set to increase this season as the Boston Celtics forward inches his way to superstardom.

Tatum is averaging 20.5 points per game this year. His production gradually increased from norming 13.9 points as a rookie and 15.7 points last season. If he continues his fine play, he could become an All-Star for the Eastern Conference this year.

While the team lost Kyrie Irving and Al Horford, it compensated with the addition of Kemba Walker. The change in personnel doesn't seem to affect Tatum’s progress as he currently contributes a career high in offense. The Celtics sits second in the Eastern Conference with 11-4 win-loss record.

The Duke University alum is set to receive $7.8 million for the 2019-2020 season. What is interesting is that he still has not spent a single penny from his salary from the Celtics as he confessed all of it goes straight to his savings account. Fortunately, he signed good deals with Gatorade, Imo’s Pizza and Honey Dew Donuts which are more than enough for him for the meantime, CNBC reported.

Tatum is blessed with world class skills and humility, which corporate brands like. He also entered the league as a teenager (19 years old) but his maturity on the court shows beyond his age. Proof of this is preparation for the future by way of saving all his salary.

“Tomorrow is not promised. You’re not promised the next contract. You want to save all the money you can,” he added.

Although the 21-year-old winger seems frugal, he knows when to reward himself. After he was chosen as third pick of Boston, he bought an Escalade and a Range Rover. The price of the former ranges from $75,000 to $94,000 while the latter carries a price tag of at least $89,000.

The former Blue Devils main man has a net worth of $5 million, per Coed. The Celtics will pay him $37.5 million in the next 4 years. He signed a multi-year deal with Jordan brand this year and joined other endorsers such as Kemba Walker, Carmelo Anthony and Blake Griffin. Other superstars who rocked the Jordan shoes are Derek Jeter, Ray Allen, Randy Moss, Maya Moore, Roy Jones Jr., and CC Sabathia.

Saving early and taking in as many endorsements has a reason behind it: Tatum has a son named Jayson Christopher Tatum Jr. who was born last year.
