Jazz Jennings’ Boyfriend Ahmir Steward Part Of ‘I Am Jazz’ Season 6?

Jazz Jennings’ boyfriend Ahmir Steward is finally back on Instagram and his return has caused some fans of “I Am Jazz” to wonder if he is still part of the show when it returns next year for Season 6.

Ahmir previously deactivated his social media account amid rumors claiming that he and Jazz may have broken up and after Jazz forgot to mention him in her “thank you” post ahead of the TLC show’s season finale.

Prior to deactivating his account, Ahmir revealed his struggles with anxiety and depression. He also made a cryptic post about self-worth and how one should not “allow others to treat you like you are nothing.”

In early March, he also alluded to being sad and lonely when he revealed on the platform that he’s been “hiding behind a smile and making jokes for a few months.” It wasn’t clear what he really meant by this, but it should be noted that “I Am Jazz” Season 5 was actually filmed last year.

The finale of the show featured Jazz’s 18th birthday, which took place last October. On the other hand, the penultimate episode featured a scene wherein Jazz and Ahmir had a heart-to-heart conversation about their relationship. It was during this time when they agreed that they should have a “no commitment” relationship for now because Jazz still wants to explore and grow more with other people.

Jazz made it clear in the same episode that she and Ahmir were not breaking up. However, fans were not convinced that they have managed to keep their relationship going behind the camera. When Ahmir received a lot of questions and comments about their possible breakup on social media, he encouraged fans to just tune in to the series to find out.

But then the show ended without a clear indication of whether or not the two of them were still boyfriend and girlfriend. It also doesn’t help that Jazz has not mentioned Ahmir on her social media for some time now.

Because of these, many fans have been asking Ahmir on Instagram if he’s coming back for another season. Jazz’s boyfriend has not responded so far, but if he does come back then it’s a clear sign that he and Jazz have managed to keep their “no commitment” relationship pact.

Meanwhile, ever since it was announced that “I Am Jazz” has been renewed for another season, there’s buzz on what could be next for the trans teen. She’s now done with her bottom surgery, so fans might see Jazz getting busy with college in the sixth season, which is scheduled to air next year.

Just recently, Jazz revealed online that she’s been accepted to both Harvard and Pomona College. She still hasn’t decided yet on which school to choose. Perhaps Jazz will keep this a secret and make the big reveal in the next season of her reality show.
