Jeannie Mai Jenkins, who gave birth to her first child with her husband Jeezy last week, has announced the name of her baby and the story behind it.

The 43-year-old host revealed in a new video on her "Hello Hunnay" YouTube channel Thursday that the baby is named Monaco Mai Jenkins.

"I thought Baby J's name should be a J name, because obviously Jeannie and Jeezy makes sense, but that wasn't the name that came to us," Mai explained. "What really came to us was how baby J came to fruition for us when we were dating."

Mai also gave a peek into the newborn's pastel-colored nursery and shared some interesting anecdotes behind the details that can be found in the room.

Apparently, the nursery features a framed photo of a bridge in Monaco, France, where Mai and Jeezy previously discussed their future as a couple.

"He turned me around and he said, 'What kind of life do you want with me? What do you wanna do in this life? What dreams you have? What is doing life for us?" she recalled in the video.

"It's the first place that we ever established what was going on for us… My now husband, at a time a year ago, I did not know what life could hold for us. I just know that I wanted to spend my life with him. I saw more than just kids. It meant family, vision, hopes," she added.

Adrienne Bailon, Mai's co-host in "The Real," also talked about the baby's name Thursday.

"Three years ago, Jeezy and Jeannie were talking on a bridge in France, talking about what it meant to do life together. Here they decided to grow and raise a family together. Hence, they named their child after the city that changed their lives forever: Monaco Mai Jenkins," Bailon said, adding that gender reveal will happen at a later date.

Bailon also shared that when Mai was decorating the baby's nursery, she paid attention to objects that represented "family, moments, traveling, discussions, important key points in my life and Jeezy's life that brought Monaco here."

Mai married rapper Jeezy in April 2021 following her divorce from Freddy Harteis in 2017.
