Jeff Bezos Jokes About Hurting Leonardo DiCaprio After Actor’s Conversation With Lauren Sanchez

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio’s conversation with Jeff Bezos’ girlfriend Lauren Sanchez resulted in the Amazon founder joking about the encounter in a funny Twitter post.

A video has been circulating online of DiCaprio speaking to Sanchez, who briefly put her arm around the actor while attending the LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.

On Monday, Bezos took to Twitter to share the video of DiCaprio along with a separate tweet, which featured the Blue Origin founder shirtless while leaning on a warning sign about a steep cliff and “fatal drop.”

“Leo, come over here, I want to show you something…@LeoDiCaprio,” Bezos tweeted.

The relationship between Bezos and Sanchez became public in January 2019, following Bezos' split from MacKenzie Scott. Bezos and Scott had been married for 25 years.

Since then, Bezos and Sanchez have continued to make headlines. Aside from their romance, a source told People in June the pair have developed a strong commitment to philanthropy.

“Both Jeff and Lauren are really energized by the work they are doing in philanthropy,” the insider said.

“It’s been a focus and bright spot for them, particularly over the last year. They’ve been active in it — doing a lot of the calls themselves and meeting with the people working on the various initiatives they’re involved with.”

In September, Bezos vowed to give away $1 billion in grants to support efforts around conservation.
