Jenelle Evans, Nathan Griffith Reportedly Break Up Ahead Of ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 6 Premiere

Jenelle Evans is said to have officially parted ways with her fiancé and “Teen Mom 2” co-star, Nathan Griffith. Just over one month after the couple, who share 10-month-old son Kaiser, were rumored to be reconciling, it is now being reported that the reality stars have decided to permanently split.

Jenelle, who was recently involved in a domestic dispute with the 27-year-old former U.S. Marine, has decided to “start seeing other people,” according to a report from Radar Online. Despite moving on from Nathan, whom she has dated since 2013, the source says the 23-year-old mom of two still has a desire to keep her family intact.

“Jenelle wants to see her family together but at the same time, he doesn’t want her. So, she can’t control him,” said the insider.

And unfortunately for Jenelle, who the insider says is hurting in the wake of her failed relationship, Nathan allegedly moved on long ago. After being issued a no-contact order following his arrest on criminal domestic violence charges in March, Radar Online reports that Nathan started dating a new mystery woman. “He moved on in two days from Jenelle then played them both,” said the source.

As Jenelle slowly jumps back into the dating pool, it is being reported that she has upped her standards. So what is she looking for in a potential boyfriend? Word has it that she’s interested in finding an all-around “good family man” who is sober and a college graduate. “She’s been saying she’s going to start seeing other people and going on dates,” said the insider.

Jenelle’s breakup comes just before the Season 6 premiere of “Teen Mom 2.” MTV recently announced that the show will premiere the first episode of the next installment on Thursday, July 9. While the network has yet to release a trailer for the forthcoming season, the Ashley’s Reality Roundup reports that Jenelle’s storyline will focus heavily on her engagement to Nathan and his recent arrest. There is no word if Jenelle’s custody battle with her mom Barbara over her 5–year-old son Jace will make it airwaves.
