“Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans is reportedly pregnant with her second child. The troubled MTV reality star doesn’t have custody of her son, Jace, 4, who has appeared on the show and has yet to confirm the rumor herself.

On Wednesday, she was active on Twitter and posted several tweets but didn’t address the swirling suspicion that she was with child. Evans, 21, is said to be expecting baby No. 2 with boyfriend Nathan Griffin.

An anonymous source confirmed the pregnancy with In Touch Weekly. “Jenelle is definitely pregnant,” the insider said. A second source added, “Jenelle has only told her closest friends and a few people in her family.”

"Jenelle is obviously going to go through with the pregnancy, but is scared of all the backlash from haters who still judge her for not having custody of her son, Jace,” the source added. Her mother, Barbara, currently has custody of her grandson after Evans legally signed her son to her mother.

This isn’t Griffin’s first child either. He apparently has a 2-year-old daughter, Emery, who also lost custody. “Nathan and Jenelle will be able to have a kid they are legally allowed to take care of,” the source told the news site. “Jenelle might have a second chance at being a mom."

“Teen Mom 2” is slated to return for another season in January, and apparently MTV already knew about Evans’ pregnancy, according to The Ashley. The news site reported that MTV even prolonged filming season 5 so her pregnancy would be a plot line. It was originally supposed to end around Thanksgiving, but The Ashely said, the network extended the filming and that season 5 will end with Evan’s being pregnant. Sorry “TM2” fans, cameras won’t be there to see the 21-year-old give birth for a second time, but there might be some footage of her going to doctor’s appointments.

The Ashley added that Evan’s future bundle of joy didn’t come as a surprise. She and her boyfriend had reportedly been trying to get pregnant since the summer. There are rumors that Evans and Griffin are getting a spin-off series, but the “TM2” star denied she was going to star in a show of her own. It would probably make for some great television, though.

Anyway, The Ashley surmised that Us Weekly will probably be the first magazine to break the news first since they apparently have close ties with MTV. Though several news sites and magazines are aware of the pregnancy, not many are running the story after it was falsely reportedly “Teen Mom” Catelynn Lowell was pregnant.

Griffin fueled pregnancy rumors when he took to his Facebook page on Dec 5, where he professed his love for Evans and said he wouldn’t wait for his future surprise. “I love you Jenelle Evans and whatever you are doing keep doing it because you are keeping me around,” Griffin wrote. “I wouldn’t have it any other way especially the surprise you are giving in the future. I can’t wait for it and I can’t wait to see the outcome. I love you so much baby.”
