Jenelle Evans Of 'Teen Mom 2' Marries Courtland Rogers In ‘Shotgun’ Wedding
Jenelle Evans might have been more worried about a Kesha concert than going to jail on Monday night’s “Teen Mom 2,” but according to her sister, Evans has married her fiancé in a “shotgun” wedding.
Perez Hilton quoted her sister, Ashleigh Evans, the first one to reveal the news, by saying: "My sister got married this morning; it was a shotgun courthouse wedding.
“My mother was totally shocked and had to hear it from someone else," she continued. "Our whole family is shocked, because they have not been dating very long.”
Jenelle Evans has gone to rehab and jail because of her addiction to marijuana, and her sister, Ashleigh, believes Evans tied the knot with Rogers to take away attention from her drug charges.
“I'm sure she did this to distract from all the drug accusations that have been flying around, and, of course, she thinks it will help her get custody of Jace back from Mom if she is married," Ashleigh said.
According to Us Weekly, it was only two weeks ago that Evans announced she was engaged, which came as a shock itself since she had only been dating Rogers for three months.
Not to mention Evans broke off her engagement with ex-fiance Gary Head in May only to start dating Rogers a few months later in September.
The “Teen Mom 2” star isn’t known for making rational decisions, such as when she told her lawyer that she couldn’t go to jail on a specific day, because she needed to go to a Kesha concert.
Even after Evans found herself in jail, she still went to the concert after getting bailed out by her friend instead of getting in contact with her lawyer and mother.
Ashleigh hasn’t appeared on “Teen Mom 2,” but Evans' relationship with her mom is one of the highlights of the show.
