Jenna Jameson Interviews: Was She On Drugs? [VIDEO]
Jenna Jameson got people talking Tuesday after she appeared disoriented in various interviews on Monday. The former X-rated actress was promoting her erotic novel “Sugar,” but the adult entertainer seemed to have a hard time coherently answering questions.
For Fox News, Jameson, whose real name is Jenna Marie Massoli, arrived nearly 20 minutes late to her interview. She could barely answer why women should read her book when asked.
“I think that fiction is a thing that women really want to … they wanna feel … they wanna be able to like be on the airplane and read it. So yeah,” she said. “This book is all based on truth. A lot of my truth. I made sure I didn’t say anything exact, but there’s a lot of truth in there.”
Jameson's rep said she was just tired from the night before, that she had stayed up late for an appearance on Bravo, but she reportedly needed help to get to the news set for the interview.
Asked whether the porn industry has changed, she said it had, but the rest of her answer didn’t make much sense. “There’s been a lot of girls now that are … I don’t know,” she said. “They’re working. They’re working hard, but you know it’s different for me. I became very famous without having to worry about making money.”
About celebrities like Kim Kardashian making sex tapes, Jameson said it was sad. “Well, it makes me sad that they don’t, that they’re not exact and … what would the word be?” she said. “Cause I know that a lot of them are very … they did this on purpose. So, it makes me sad.”
An interview the 39-year-old retired porn star did with Jim North and Sam Roberts for SiriusXM on Monday has more than 35,000 views on YouTube already. There, Jameson continued to slur her words and answered many of the questions in a bizarre manner.
With Fox 5 via the New York Daily News, she claimed her novel was like “Fifty Shades of Grey,” but with “a huge amount more” to it.
The XXX star told TMZ she was not on any prescription drugs and said she was just really tired. When asked point-blank what happened with her sloppy interviews, the blonde bombshell said, “I was exhausted.” According to the gossip site, Jameson asserted in one interview that she hadn’t done drugs for seven years.
MMA legend and ex-husband Tito Ortiz, 38, has accused Jameson of being addicted to Oxycontin, and he currently has custody of their twin boys. She was arrested in 2012 for a DUI and reportedly had various multiple prescription drugs in her system. The adult’s star first novel, “How To Make Love Like A Porn Star,” became a New York Times best-seller.
