Jennie Garth has opened up about her ex-husband Peter Facinelli’s new relationship with fellow actress Jamie Alexander.

The “90210” star told People magazine, "I think there will come a time when it won't sting so bad. But I'm not quite there yet.

"You know, I am happy that he is happy, though."

Facinelli, 38, started dating Alexander, 28, and both starred in the movie, “Loosies” which came out in January.

Alexander spoke to People about their relationship in November, saying “We’ve been friends forever and had a lot of mutual friends and we reconnected in the middle of the year.

It was one of those things where I’d been single for a very long time and he was going through a lot. We sort of bonded.

It’s very new to me and it’s scary, but it’s also something we don’t want to give up on because I know how it makes me feel in my heart….It makes me feel really good. He’s a good guy with a great family and I couldn’t be any luckier.”

Garth and Facinelli ended their 11-year marriage earlier this year when Facinelli filed for divorce. The couple has three daughters together.

Back in October, Garth had spoken about her experiences this year, calling 2012 a ‘rebirth.’

"[2012] has been a bit of a rebirth for me as a person by shedding that negative space and all the pain associated with that time," she said.

"It definitely feels like a great time in my life,” Garth went on to say. "Even through the ups and downs, I'm happy. I'm thankful to be alive."

In her most recent interview, Garth seems to be at happy still, saying that she is a new relationship. "I'm dating one guy right now. One is enough, right?"
