Jennifer Aniston Allegedly 'Hates' Angelina Jolie For 'Stealing' Brad Pitt
Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie have been pitted against each other since the latter, allegedly, stole Brad Pitt from the “Friends” actress. Rumors are rife that the mom of six was the primary reason why the “Troy” star decided to dissolve his five-year marriage with Jennifer in 2005.
Now, new reports are claiming that Jennifer attacked Angelina when she told Variety, in October, that she is not interested to appear in Marvel movies. The “Just Go with It” actress lamented that the film industry is affected in terms of availability of dramatic roles due to Marvel Studios’ domination.
“It wasn’t until the last couple of years when these streaming services were just sort of exploding with this amount of quality that I actually started to think, ‘Wow, that’s better than what I just did,'” Jennifer Aniston told the publication in an exclusive interview. “And then you’re seeing what’s available out there and it’s just diminishing and diminishing in terms of, it’s big Marvel movies. Or things that I’m not just asked to do or really that interested in living in a green screen,” she added.
Tabloids were quick to pick up Jennifer’s statements and created a story saying that her statements were aimed at Angelina Jolie, who is, currently, working on a new Marvel film called “Eternals.” Globe reported that it was not coincidental that Jennifer slammed Marvel Studios when her alleged nemesis is already filming for its forthcoming new offering.
It even claimed that Jennifer Aniston has been telling her friends that Angelina’s “Maleficent 2: Mistress of Evil” movie “sucks.” “She hates Angie more than ever for stealing [Brad Pitt] and then splitting from him. To Jen, it feels like Angie broke her heart for no good reason, and she’s determined to make her pay,” a source told the tabloid.
However, this might not be the case after all. In fact, Jennifer told Elle, in December 2018, that she already moved on from her failed marriages from Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux. “I don’t feel a void,” Jennifer revealed. “I really don’t. My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in [my] personal opinion. And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn’t exist within that arrangement anymore,” the “Murder Mystery” actress went on.
In 2015, Jennifer Aniston also addressed the never-ending rumors about her alleged feud with Angelina Jolie. “I think that’s slowly coming to an end. I really do,” she, previously, told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s just tiresome and old. It’s like an old leather shoe. Let’s buy a new pair of shiny shoes,” the "We’re the Millers” star added.
