Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had an awkward reunion at the 2009 Oscar Awards.

Aniston and Pitt are expected to reunite at the Golden Globe Awards. Their fans are hoping to see them together at the event. Emma Baty of Cosmopolitan even wrote, “I would give my right arm for a cute Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston Golden Globes Moment.”

Ten years ago, Pitt and Aniston reunited at another award ceremony. However, it wasn’t only the two of them, the “Maleficent” star was also at the event and based on their body language, the three had an awkward reunion, Mirror first reported.

The “Murder Mystery” star made a brave move by presenting an award at the ceremony in front of her ex-husband and his new partner. Aniston’s awkwardness on stage was apparent.

According to body language expert Judi James, it was undoubtedly Pitt and Jolie’s night while Aniston stood upright with a poker face on stage, never allowing her eyes to dip to the stalls to see the forced-looking pose from Brangelina who both sported wide-mouthed frozen-looking grins as though Aniston said something hilarious when she looked “solemn-faced.”

“Jennifer appeared in a hurry to get off stage, pulling Jack Black with her only to find they had another award to present. This time when the cameras swung to Brangelina the goatee-rubbing Brad had leant his head in towards Angelina in a show of unity,” James observed.

Aniston, Pitt and Jolie have since moved on from the issue involving them. In 2015, Aniston denied the rivalry between her and Jolie and said that that was “slowly coming to an end.” She also praised Jolie’s film “Unbroken” and said that Pitt’s second wife made a gorgeous job in the movie.

Aniston and Pitt have also rekindled their friendship. Pitt even attended her 50th birthday bash in February 2019. They were seen again last month when the “Ad Astra” attended her holiday party days before Christmas.

According to an insider, Pitt and Aniston’s upcoming reunion at the Golden Globe Awards will not be awkward or tense because the exes are now good friends.

“There’s no chance that a potential run-in between Jen and Brad will be tense or uncomfortable,” the source told Us Weekly.
