Jennifer Aniston Opens Up About Her $21 Million Home In Los Angeles
Jennifer Aniston recently gave a tour of her $21 million property in Los Angeles.
During an interview with Architectural Digest, the “Friends” alum said that her home is both “sexy” but “comfortable.” She and her husband, Justin Theroux, as well as their three dogs, live in the sprawling estate.
Aniston purchased the property in 2011, but it was the farthest thing from what she wanted. With the help of her good friend, Stephen Shadley, Aniston was able to bring her interior and exterior ideas to life. Theroux was also involved in the designing of their house.
“Justin definitely wanted to be involved, so there was a bit of a learning curve for me on how to include another voice in the design process. For instance, I figured out that immediately saying no to any suggestion is not the most collaborative move,” she said.
Aniston is very proud of how her house looks, especially since every corner of the property has a story to tell. “We worked very hard to get that flow right,” she added.
The “Horrible Bosses” alum had a wonderful time designing her stunning home since she has a passion for interior designing. If Aniston wasn’t an actress, this is what she will probably be doing.
Meanwhile, Aniston has a major takeaway from her new home. In the past, she would accept every single project offered to her. But with her lovely and comfortable home, she has become pickier when it comes to the projects will she take part in.
“I look around at my husband and my dogs and our home, and there’s nowhere else I want to be,” she said.
Aniston’s recent interview also confirms that she is still with Theroux and that they are not on the brink of a divorce. Last year, US Weekly reported that the couple’s marriage is still going strong contrary to speculations that they have separated.
“She prefers L.A. He has a fondness for New York, but they knew that about each other from the beginning and decided it wasn’t an issue. It doesn’t mean they’re splitting up,” the source said.
