Jennifer Aniston remains good friends with her exes Brad Pitt and John Mayer.
The “Murder Mystery” actress knows how to keep her friendship with her exes. Aniston is a proof that ex-lovers can be friends.
Just recently, Aniston commented on Mayer’s Instagram Live when he paid tribute to late Bill Withers on his “Current Mood” show. Fans were overjoyed to see Aniston watching Mayer’s show, but an insider said that they remain friends a decade after they parted ways.
“Jen and John have a nice friendship,” a source told Us Weekly. “John has a deep admiration and respect for Jen.”
Aniston and Mayer dated for a few months in 2008 after meeting at an Oscar party in February. They gave their romance another shot in early 2009 before splitting for good. Even if their romance didn’t work out, they've remained on good terms.
“Whenever they talk or are out together it’s always friendly and nice. There is definitely no weirdness between them,” the source added.
Aniston and her other ex-, Brad Pitt, are also amicable. Earlier this year, the “Ad Astra” actor and "Friends" star had a sweet reunion at the SAG Awards. Many were surprised but pleased to see Pitt and Aniston together.
Aniston and Pitt’s wedding singer Melissa Etheridge addressed the romantic rumors about the exes. She was not surprised to see them together because according to her, they have a lasting friendship.
“Oh, you know what? I loved Brad and Jen together, they were beautiful,” Etheridge said.
“I believe they will always remain friends because they're two very special people that can get through anything. I just hope that their friendship lasts, because they share one hell of an unbreakable bond.”
However, those who are hoping to see Pitt and Aniston rekindling their romance might be disappointed. An insider said that the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” actor is completely sober and has already apologized to Aniston that’s why they are good.
“He truly takes ownership for his mistakes and that has changed their relationship with each other today. They both have moved on,” the source said.
