Jennifer Aniston is reportedly seeing Brad Pitt’s mom again, but there seems to be no proof backing up this claim.

Star recently published a report claiming that the “Friends” alum is getting back in touch with her former mother-in-law, Jane Pitt, after the “Ad Astra“ actor showed up to her 50th birthday bash last month. Aniston is reportedly regaining her friendship with Jane and is now relying on her for a “mother-daughter” type of bond.

“Making up with Brad was the best thing that could have happened to Jen, because it clears the way for her to regain her friendship with Jane,” an unnamed insider claimed in the report.

The source went on to insist that Pitt had forbidden his mom from contacting Aniston when he was still with Angelina Jolie. However, now that Pitt is already finalizing his divorce with the “Maleficent” actress, he reportedly finally allowed his mom to contact Aniston again, and the two women are “picking up right where they left off.”

The so-called source contended that Jane never got along with Jolie. However, she apparently thought of Aniston as one of her daughters so it was difficult for both of them to keep their distance from each other following Pitt and Aniston’s split.

Gossip Cop, however, has debunked this report. Aniston’s spokesperson said that the report was “fabricated.” The actress’ rep also said that the storyline involving Aniston and Pitt’s mother was not original and is only “made-up.”

Back in February, NW was the first to report about Aniston’s friendship with Pitt’s mother, claiming Jane and Pitt's first ex-wife were reportedly hanging out again. The two women apparently shared a close bond so he gave them a “go-ahead” signal to talk again.

These reports started when Pitt attended Aniston’s 50th birthday. Their fans have been clamoring for them to get back together after Aniston and Justin Theroux announced that they were parting ways. However, Aniston and Pitt hadn’t actually seen each other in person until her birthday last month.

Some rumors claimed that Pitt and Aniston got married on her birthday celebration. The pair also reportedly enjoyed a getaway at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico after the said celebration. Gossip Cop debunked both reports.
